My partner and I recently moved to Orlando from Rome, Italy. We recently were able to get away to Ft Lauderdale and check out the local gay life. We had an excellent time at your resort. We discovered it by accident, after spending the weekend at a different resort, we were told about you guys on the day we were supposed to leave to come back to Orlando (Easter Sunday) We decided to stay another night just to check out your resort, I am happy to report that we had an great time and plan to visit your resort again soon. It was really nice being around other gay couples and singles outside of a club type setting. In one day we were able to unwind and and discover each other all over again. I can't wait to see what an entire weekend does for us. Thanks for the hospitality! We hope to see you all again soon.

I just wanted to thank you for all that you did to make me feel welcome and comfortable during my first visit to your gay resort (or any gay resort).

I really did enjoy my stay. Your facility is so well groomed and managed as well as being beautiful. All the staff is so nice and good at what they do which is a wonderful change from most other venues available for a vacation.

I met so many really nice people and so much enjoyed their company while I was there. I believe I made some true friends with whom I will continue a long term relationship for years.

I’m very much looking forward to my next visit two weeks from now.

Hi to Steve, Gary and all the great staff at this hotel;

We just wanted to say a great big thank you for making us feel like we where at home while we stayed there . We had just finished our very first cruise and decided to stay with your hotel for 3 days in January 2006. And let me tell you, that was one decision that I'm glad i made. We where both a bit nervous about staying there as we have never been to an all gay hotel before and wasn't to sure what to expect while we were there. It was so great, that as soon as we arrived back in Calgary, we had the calendar out and are trying to decide when our next visit will be. So rest assured, we will be coming back for a visit again some time soon, and this time it will be a longer stay !! Everything there is so relaxed and laid back. It was just what we needed after our cruise. So until we see you again, take care and keep that pool nice and warm for me.....(you know us Canadians, always cold in the winters...hahaha)

Hi Guys!
l wanted to write a quick message to thank Gary and Steve and the entire Elysium Resort staff for making my stay there absolutely wonderful. You guys are great and made my vacation so great that l even stayed a couple of extra days! The rooms were clean and spacious. It was a much needed vacation on my part and the Elysium was just the place to be.

l am so looking forward to my next stay there...hopefully sooner than later. Thank you all so much again for a wonderful stay in Fort Lauderdale.

The resort was beautiful, the rooms were spacious and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the guests were pleasantly laid back. (That’s what I like about Fort Lauderdale—no hustle and bustle, everyone seems to chill.)

Good Morning All

Wanted to say that as a new visitor to the Elysium Resort, I was greeted by Jeff with a warm handshake and a welcome. My stay there for the 5 nights were both very relaxing and stress free. The staff are wonderful, and my room was clean each and every day, and very comfortable. The pools and Jacuzzi are great, and having cold lemonade there was great on those hot days. I was nervous till I arrived and everyone so friendly and guest were great to talk to and the continental breakfasts were fantastic.

The lush growth of trees, bushes, flowers etc, made this look like a tropical resort, and I felt very safe and relaxed. So much so, that I do plan on returning in 2006, and to have a much longer stay, and will be telling my friends about the Elysium Resort.

To all the staff thank you so much for making this a most rewarding experience for me, and I hope to see everyone again next year. Your all fantastic!

I'm sorry it's taken so long for me to write and extend my appreciation for your hospitality. Ovide, Gregg, & I had the time of our lives. Not only in Ft. Lauderdale alone but especially at the Elysium. I know now why it is highly recommended. We can't thank you enough. And we look forward to coming back, if not before our trip next year, hopefully sometime sooner. We loved all the people we met who worked at Elysium. All the guest were very friendly, respectful, open and just great to hang around with. We are actually going this weekend to stay with Sharone & Phil that we met who were from Philly.

So as you can tell, we love you guys, miss you, and hope you are thinking of us ( ALWAYS! ;P ).

Dear Gary and Steve

I very much enjoyed the Elysium Resort. There was a good mix of ages and all your guests had fun without being overly loud. There were so many fine touches in the decorating motif. Some elegant, others glamorous (the nudes), others witty like the pool sign but always in good taste.

The resort itself had so many little private places to meet or be alone. I particularly liked the sky deck. Separate pools and the overly large hot tub amid all those lovely tropical plants was wonderful. Morning breakfasts and the Saturday night party make meeting others easy.

Accompanying all this splendor was a friendly and competent staff. My shower flow problem was fixed in less than five minutes by a most congenial and handsome fellow. My early arrival after the cruise, put pressure on the housekeeping staff to ready the room. Your desk clerk kept tabs on the process the whole time. He handled the comings and goings and the phone calls and the little girl pup well.

Patience is clearly a virtue he will need with her. He is a sweet guy. All of your staff are hard working. There was not one bit of trash or cigarette butts anywhere. The rooms were immaculate. Tell Victor he works too hard.
